The performances at Las Vegas are on a different level. The stages are extremely large, movable, and are not just a hard floor.
Presented at Bellagio, “O” the name of a Cirque Du Soleil production uses a water theme stage production. It is filled with many skilled acrobats, synchronized swimmers and performers in general. I have not been to a production where the stage becomes a huge pool of water and a description will not be able to fully describe this mesmerizing performance.
“Ka” is also another Cirque Du Soleil performance that is presented at the MGM hotel. Unlike the previous water theme stage, this stage is large and movable. The stage will rotate vertically and even horizontally! Part of the performance is even on top of the audience. It is more action based as there is a lot of fighting involved. If you have seen the performances on Broadway, New York, be prepared to be blown away. Broadway shows are great, however, the production and the stage is miles apart. After you have watched both, you will understand.
There are also magicians that perform at Las Vegas. Two of the famous ones are Criss Angel, MindFreak, and David Copperfield. Both performances are really amazing and they appeal to different types of people. If you are visiting with your family and younger kids, I would suggest David Copperfield over MindFreak. David Copperfield’s performance was very inspiring and fits more of a family theme. MindFreak on the other hand is very edgy. It was a great experience and he has a lot of dangerous acts and stunts that involved with sharp objects and flames. The entire audience is able to feel the temperature of the entire room rise significantly throughout his performance. Younger kids may be scared of the acts, but if you do not have participants that will be easily scared, it is a very thrilling experience.
