I traveled to Radha Govinda Mandir in Brooklyn on schermerhorn street, after multiple failed visit attempts in other temples in the city. The temple itself is a part of ISKCON, and there is a section on the wall in the main hallway dedicated to the founder Swami Prabhupada. I was welcomed inside by a helpful woman working there, and she directed me to the large ballroom-like space where the majority of the events were held. Of course, I had to take off my shoes, as it is custom in these temples. It was empty and dark due to nobody being there yet, but i could still smell the scent of incense burned and noticed many paintings of deities and figures lining the walls and leading up to the stage. There is also a sculpture of the ISKCON founder in the back of the ballroom space, with two posters neighboring it containing scriptures.
