- History of rap music, the artist Biggie Smalls
- The history of rap music exposes a lot that goes down in the industry. Several social issues are mentioned throughout his songs
- This piece of art brings out multiple issues in society
- I chose this form of art because I can express myself in many ways and touch upon several topics.
- Biggie Smalls uses this form of art to express the downfalls and hardships in society that people in power don’t acknowledge or pretend it’s not happening.

Biggie was really influential for rap in general, would you say 2pac had the same effect on rap as biggie?
I think the history of rap is a great topic and focusing on Biggie Smalls is a great idea.
This is a perfect topic. I can imagine your paper will spend a lot of time looking at the 90s in New York, the specific issues facing hip hop artists during that time, and how those issues were represented in music.
I think this is a great start and that possibly you can then connect it to modern-day rap and how it has changed?
Biggie should be talked about because his songs bring real life problems and people enjoy listening to these songs.
Biggie Smalls is very slept on, this is a good idea to write about.
