This form is intended for disabled students who need accommodations to participate fully in a Writing Center session. Using the form below, please let us know how the Writing Center can best support you. For example:
- If you need extended time, you can request extended sessions.
- If you have trouble accessing our schedule (WCOnline) using a screen reader or other assistive device, you can request to meet with a consultant by Zoom instead.
- If you need materials (such as handouts or workshop materials) sent in a different file format or style, you can let us know.
We can make many other accommodations not listed here, so please let us know what support you need. This form is received by the Writing Center’s Director, Diana Hamilton, and Assistant Director, Rachel Rys.
Documentation is not required for Writing Center accommodation. If you need accommodation for your courses, we recommend that you get in touch with Baruch’s Student Disability Services, which facilitates individualized accommodations from extended time to notetaking services to assistive technology. You can contact SDS at email@example.com.
If you are requesting a schedule modification for a different purpose (ex. you are writing a thesis and want to request recurring sessions with the same consultant), please use this long-term project support request form instead.
