Take off that Givenchy and let’s get raunchyyyyyy.

I somehow try to relate everything in my life to a Kanye West lyric. Right now I am listening to Kanye as I am writing this post and he just said that line, “Take off that Givenchy (Gi-van-chi) and let’s get raunchy”. You might be asking yourself. “what the *%$# is he talking about?”. But there is no need for you to worry about that seeing how it is my free choice and I will talk about whatever I want to and as sad as it seems you will have to sit there a bear it. At this point I am babbling and it’s about time I focus my writing on one or two main points. With that being said, I love fashion. I am a very fashion-forward, fashion oriented person. At times I wonder why I am at Baruch and not FIT but then reality kicks in and reminds me that the fashion industry is an “eat or don’t eat” industry. Which basically means it you make it and indulge in “that” lavish lifestyle or you starve. I am a practical person and at times I often listen to reason over true passion. So I listened to reason and I am at Baruch pursuing a major which will (supposedly) land me a job, but as each day passes by passion makes me wonder if I am at the right place and if I am doing the right things. It’s not like I entirely put fashion in the back burner, I still have my little side projects that I am working on. But I don’t want to be one of those people who are thirty-five years old and each and every day dread their career and life altogether. Honestly I just want to be happy when I’m thirty-five. But at the same time when I am thirty-five I want to eat every day. Why couldn’t we just be paid by the amount of passion that we have for something and not available jobs. Decisions, Decisions. asdfghjkl;.
