Originally I had been very disappointed in the fact that I decided to attend Baruch last fall. I felt as if I wasn’t allowing myself to gain the “true” college experience. Commuting every day back and forth was taking up four hours of my day, each and every single day. I found that people were super unfriendly or apathetic because in a commuter school there was no need to engage in activity with others. But then I realized I was part of the problem; if i wasn’t willing to approach others, no one would try to talk to me. After joining the club Women In Business [WIB] , I started to become more active on campus and it no longer felt like just a “commuter school”. This past semester I’ve really grown to love Baruch, so I’m going to show you a few things about our school.
Recently they created this page on Facebook called Baruch Memes. What is a meme you may ask? Well it’s “An element of a culture or behavior that may be passed from one individual to another by nongenetic means, esp. imitation.” This type of humor has become especially popular on the internet recently.
Sooooooo, I’m dumb and have no idea how to put the image here… so here are the URLs.
