Sorry for the late post!!!!!

My final paper is giving me more problems than I thought. I’m having a lot of trouble getting my ideas out without going off topic. I find it difficult to use the sources in my paper. I’m doing a close read of my poem and going line by line explaining how each line proves my point. It was going well but then I feel like I might be repetitive because of the lines are showing the same thing again and I’m not sure how to go about that. Do I just put them together? But then it is out of order. Do I just skit it? But it’s proving my point more. How do I avoid sounding like a broken record but still have a strong argument?

The digital essay is coming along. The weather was unfortunately uncooperative and I had to change what I wanted to film due to the torrential downpour that occurred each time I went to film something! (Jewish luck!)  Hopefully it will still portray the New York I want people to see.

Off Topic but WOW the semester is almost done?!

So far, the digital essay we’ve been working on for the past few weeks is going according to plan. We’re almost through with it, we got a lot of filming done but might do some extra just for the hell of it. I’m just waiting to finalize some parts so we can move onto our final step and finish it completely. Rendering might take quite a while, I’m hoping it finished before it’s due.

On the other hand, I still have some more work to do with my research paper. I’m thinking of adding more sources because I feel like it’s lacking, and it would really help with my thesis. For now, I think my thesis is the main thing I should be focusing on, because that’s basically the part that explains the entire paper to the reader. Those two revisions should work together after some hours and hours of work and hopefully I will be able to drastically improve this paper.

Well, uh this is kind of awkward seeing how the title of this post has nothing to do with the body of this post. Anyways I can gladly say that the digital essay portion of this project is completed. Which is kind of weird, seeing how my essay still needs to be completed. It seems that my prose seems to be on point but I still need to work on making my argument more credible and revising my thesis. Despise my setbacks, getting thoughts out for this essay was easier than anything else I’ve ever did for this class. I feel like since I actually cared about what I was writing about that in the end it made it easier for me to actually write a paper.

Work still needs to be done with my paper but I am really excited that my digital essay is completed! I’m hyped actually, and I cannot wait to share it with the class.

I simply have to modify my thesis a bit and my paper will be set.  I have just been working on the paper consistently since I picked my poem and it is finally paying off. The only problem I am having is with my digital essay. One of my actors, my only actor, has a lot of personal problems occurring in his life now and will be unavailable to film. So, now my digital essay will have to change. I should be able to create a suitable digital essay all things considering, I did beginning filming this Sunday.
