All in all, this paper argues that gender bias still exists widely in the workplace in the United States, and it causes a glass ceiling in the workplace, results in women’s stress and anxiety, and reinforces gender inequality in the US society. The goal of gender equality is hard to be achieved, so the feminist movement should continue in the future. When the gender bias or glass ceiling can be removed from the workplace and the entire society of the world, human beings will be closer to the ultimate goals of justice, equality and freedom.
