The bright color rendering, the resonance generated by the application of elements, the bright light in the dimness, or a touch of monochrome in the blank space are all contained in the animated short film and express the desired voice through visual language. I like watching cartoons very much, and the pictures we often think about in our minds can also be shown in the form of animated short films. In the course, I particularly liked the four animations “Beauty”, “Rejected”, “HERTZFELDT ON BLU-RAY” and “Logorama”. I like the animation “Beauty” the most. The author used famous classical paintings to make the visual effect of the entire animation come to life through the form of animation and the soundtrack of classical music. The addition of the soundtrack also gave me a unique visual experience. I remember that when I was a child, I liked to draw some pictures by hand and even used a notebook to illustrate a story. The animation style of “Rejected” reminds me of the joy of hand drawing. The author uses hand-drawn animation to present a humorous and absurd story. The method of hand-drawn animation creation often develops in a personalized direction, and exaggerated expressions and movements make the characters in the animation more vivid. The two animations, “Beauty” and “Rejected” show different animation forms. The works presented in different forms and styles will be various visual feasts.
