Jewish people that lived in that time were in dark and worry everyday. After witnessing their friend Cohn and his son were hung by the Germans, Vladek was so scared that he stayed at home for a few days. They also became serious about dealing goods without a coupon. When the Jewish people were demanded to go to the stadium, everyone was struggled about whether they should go or not for uncertain results that would happen.
