About

Standing proudly amongst the iconic Manhattan skyline is Baruch College’s Newman Vertical Campus.  While only 14 stories tall, the Vertical Campus looms large in the New York City management education landscape.  It is in this building that the largest collegiate school of business resides.  It is here that the highly ranked full-time and working professional MBA programs are housed.  And, it is here that a world class faculty creates and disseminates highly relevant and incredibly important scholarship on a regular basis.

The Newman Vertical Campus is ideally situated in the heart of Manhattan spanning the entirety of Lexington Avenue between 24th and 25th Streets, thus the name of this blog.  Partly because of the cherished location, Baruch College Zicklin School of Business is able to draw upon leaders in pretty much every industry from Finance to Consumer Products to Consulting and beyond.  Zicklin attracts the best for the best.

The purpose of this blog is to provide an account of all that is going on at the Vertical Campus and beyond.  The world is changing; it is incumbent upon management educators to respond accordingly.  This blog will chronicle those changes, explore new curricular innovations, and identify emerging needs and trends in management education.
