“Making it real” exhibit

Anyone still looking for a show to see and review might consider the exhibition, “Making it real”, at De Lillis Gallery, 1045 Madison Ave. (at 79 St.). The show, subtitled “Photomontage before Photoshop,” includes photo-illustrations from the 19th & 20th centuries, in a time before digital imaging. I haven’t seen the show myself but it looked interesting. It’s in a commercial gallery which means admission is free. (The photos in the show are for sale, but no one will ask you to buy anything, and you can look as long as you like).
