I’m imagining how Chris Nieratko would review this image for Vice Magazine. But all I can think of is how I feel I’m being emotionally blackmailed when a student puts their baby’s pictures into an art project and posts it on a blog we are forced to write criticisms on as part of our grade.
It is a holiday greeting card. I have to use my family picures better than using others ( can not use internet images). You don’t need to critisize the babies but you can critisiz how I design: the layout or color. I don’t think there is any problem with it.
I actually like the clean cut design of your work, one thing though, it looks a tad Hallmarky and it’s got me wondering if your your final porfolio will be of greeting cards, birthday cards, or cards of all sorts. Cute babies though– of course if you throw babies into anything that’ll be enough to keep me in awe for a bit.
