Nice one. your design looks like one of the paintings from PS1. are you sure you didn’t painting it by hand?. It looks very real.

  2. Thanks, Alex. I did this with Illustrator. My goal was to make it look as if I painted it by hand, even though it’s 100% digital, start to finish. I wonder which painter at PS1 you are thinking of? I just looked at their website, and it looks like mostly installation and sculpture now. The last time I went to PS1 was about 25 years ago. There was a memorable, free-standing “interactive” painting of Hitler on exhibit–interactive in that a Jewish gallery visitor had reportedly stabbed it in the “heart”, leaving a six-inch gash in the canvas. Improving it, I believe. Ah, the wild early 80’s artworld, *sigh*. Nowadays there would simply be a lawsuit.

Really great, this is right out my alley of descriptive art work. I have to say i think you work well in this format.

  4. You did a really good job. It really looks like it was painted.
