review #4

I visited the galleries on the 23rd street and 10th ave. There are a lot of great artworks created by different artists. I am amazed by the ideas the artists generate, and every artist has his/her own style and signatures in their creations. print trade info

I’ve heard from six of you who want to participate in the print trade – Lucinda, Rita, Linda, Lewelin, Adam, Sandy, and Michael. With me that makes seven.

If you are doing the print trade, your job is to choose one of your images and make enough letter-sized prints for everyone who is participating (that’s seven prints total). I’ll make an envelope and cover sheet for each set of prints so you can take them with you safely. We’ll do the trade on December 22 during the final presentation.

There were many paintings that caught my eye such as Eugene Boch, The Starry night, and Landscape at twilight. Each of these paintings felt like they had movement, which gave it an interesting feel. It is currently located in the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Continue reading

Opinion needed!

So I was thinking of keeping the “deteriorating skin” a similarity throughout all 5 pics, but if you guys feel that this piece looks better without it, then I’ll nix it.
