Access the impacts of COVID-19 in America
COVID-19 has major impacts in various aspects of our day-to-day life, and we want to assess and understand the magnitude of those impacts within America through the lens of health, economic growth and employment, transportation, and housing.
We will be analyzing the following key indicators:
  1. COVID-19 infection, recovery, and death rates across regions in America – from January to YTD 2020
  2. Economic Growth/GDP statistic across regions in America – from January to YTD 2020
  3. Employment Rate/Unemployment Benefits across regions in America – from January to YTD 2020
  4. Mobility data (travel restriction and public transportation usage data) across regions in America – from January to YTD 2020
  5. Housing Rate (housing transaction/rental prices) across regions in America – from January to YTD 2020

Building a home-buying tool for NYC
We would like to assess the best neighborhoods in NYC to purchase a home. We want to analyze the recent home sale data (past 12 months or so) and crime rates in NYC neighborhoods. Data such as assessed property values, sale prices, and different types of crimes and crime rates.
