While doing the tracing assignment my observation was that i had to do a lot of paying attention to details in the way the letters are written and the space between them. I saw that while doing the tracing i had a harder time doing the upper case letters than with the lower case letters. when doing the tracing i saw that it was a little hard to make sure that you trace the letter perfect. It told me a longer time then i thought it was going to take. The assignment was interesting to do.

I decided that i was going to used the typeface century expanded. I decided to use that typefaces because i felt that the one was easier to do and i liked the typeface. While using this typeface i saw that the base of most of the letters are boxed. while doing the freehand i saw that i was having a hard time at first while doing the assignment.
