I came across a TikTok video a couple of days ago, in which Kendall Jenner who’s a model, actor, and businesswoman who rose in fame at a very young age, was seen walking past a homeless mother with her daughter right next to her. Many began to criticize her in that particular video because Kendall who is this “famous rich girl” in which many would say, couldn’t stop for a few seconds and help out the family with pocket change. What caught my attention was the fact that people who are sitting behind a screen took the time to say their own opinion on the topic without taking into consideration the fact that Kendall Jenner has places to be, a whole paparazzi following her, can’t see clearly with the sunglasses she’s wearing and most importantly isn’t carrying hundreds of dollars in her purse to give out. Im not a fan of The Kardashians, but at the end of the day everyone is famous whether their famous or not. I noticed the mother and daughter were barefoot with a pair of clothes that is probably the own clothes they are able to wear. The image below reveals the little girl looking up to a lady that is being followed with a flash mob. What stood out the most to me is that the girl didn’t run after Kendall or ask her for any help. It just comes to show they weren’t expecting for anything they just admired her. The smile on the little girl’s face doesn’t fade away, she stands there with her hands behind her back with all positivity.

There isn’t anything that is repeated that is noticeable, but I can say that many celebrities tend to have this trend where they only see their pathway In which they’re walking and nothing around them matters. I don’t have much of an opinion because I’m no celebrity and only a college student, but I can speak for the public that they should be a little more considerate towards one another. The comments in the post were very unnecessary, on the other hand it only points out the sad division within the rich and poor. I’m left off wondering, is Kendall Jenner only nice to kids who dress nicely? What was going through her mind when she was walking past the homeless mother and daughter?
Hi Heidi, I could see your point about nobody wasn’t showing consideration towards Kendall Jenner, she had people following her and she probably couldn’t see with a lot of camera flashes. She probably would’ve helped if there wasn’t so many people surrounded by her.
People love to sit behind their screens and criticize everything that someone who will never acknowledge them do. These are the same people who will do the same thing. I do understand calling people out for their wrongs, though.
