One memorial that has a lasting impression on me is the 9/11 Memorial and Museum. The architecture itself is breathtaking with the two pools being in the exact same spot as the original twin towers. The attention to detail that portrays all the nearly 3,000 victims of those deadly attacks and the constant visitation it gets shows the spirit of the country when unified. Aside from the memorial which is outside visible to the public is the museum which goes in depth to what happened that day in 2001, and truly gives you the chills and is heartbreaking seeing all of the artifacts and exhibits from the victims of those attacks. Hearing the news cycle of that day before and after, and all of the hone calls from victims to loved ones.
