Personal Memory : Juno

My dog did not pass but is living very happy and healthy in Texas. Unfortunately during the time we had him, Juno had severe separation and social anxiety. It was getting to a point where my mom had to start working at home to care for him. Ultimately, it was having a big toll on my mom physically and mentally as she was the only one caring for him since I was either at school and coming home late with extra -curriculars. My dad also worked the whole day and only came at night. After a lot of discussing, we thought the best thing was to have my Aunt from Texas care for Juno since she already had a dog that could help him. November 2022, Juno moved to Texas and as sad and unfortunate it was. I am glad to see how happy he is doing now. His anxiousness is almost completely gone and he has a brother to show him how things are done. I will be visiting him again and I cannot wait!

The first week of having him. Only 9 weeks old. Super tiny cockapoo.
TINY DOG
Poor guy got neutered 🙁
Getting his 60 minutes of daily exercise
We set up a camera in our living room to watch Juno. Here we are reassuring him as he cries longing for us.
He didn’t like how I was peeing with the door closed. So I let the door open, as this is how he looks at me as I pee.
He loves hugs
His reaction to seeing me after 6 months 🙂
When we left him alone, we had to play this. It didn’t really help he would still cry for hours.

  1. Juno is super cute! My friend also went through a similar experience and had to do the same. I know it’s difficult, but on the bright side, it’s what’s best for both of you, Juno now has a new companion that can play with him all day long, and your mother gets to focus on herself and work on her mental health.

  2. I’m glad all things worked out. Juno is living life having another companion with him. Hope you have a great time with Juno this Christmas break and overall your whole family.
