At the beginning of the year, I wanted to improve my vocabulary to speak and sound more intellectual in my writing. I would definitely say that my writing has 100% improved by taking this class because of the amount of practice that we have done. One thing that I have learned is that writing is pretty much exactly like speaking, and in order to successfully write something you have to be able to portray all your thoughts to captivate the reader. I’m definitely surprised by the outcome of my writing, and this class made me like writing more.

One writing piece that I am proud of in particular, is the memorial proposal, because I was able to be extremely creative. It gave me the ability to design, which is my favorite thing to do as I feel like I was extremely persuasive to the audience reading. Writing this piece made me enjoy writing more, and they also further proved my enjoyment of designing and creating.

In all honesty, I don’t think there was an assignment that I thought was hard to write. I said this, because we had so much practice and are constantly working on writing throughout the semester that it became second nature to me. The only thing that I would say that I struggle with is imagining what the teacher would grade my work. But looking at my grades, after submitting the assignment, gave me a huge relief. 

In conclusion, this semester provided me with the newfound liking of writing. It also made me realize that I’m better at writing than I used to think.
