Final Project

This class was not only comforting but also refreshing. With every paper and prompt, I found myself delving deeper into my thoughts and emotions. My writing evolved into something more personal and authentic, where the words on the page began to resonate with my true self. There’s a distinct contrast when writing about topics that genuinely interest and captivate you.

I believe I’ve successfully achieved my writing goals in this class. I feel more adept at expressing myself professionally, yet I’ve retained the ability to write in a casual and engaging manner. Moreover, I’ve developed the skill of seamlessly connecting my ideas, creating a more coherent flow in my writing.

Among the pieces I’ve written, two stand out as sources of pride for me. The movie analysis of “The Nightmare Before Christmas” was particularly enjoyable as it’s one of my favorite films. Delving into its depths and challenging myself to analyze a familiar movie revealed new aspects that deepened my appreciation. Adding visuals further enhanced my expression. Another piece I’m proud of is the movie theory analysis. Expressing my personal ideas and aligning them with my ideals was fulfilling, although assembling everything posed a challenge. In the end, I felt proud of the outcome.

One piece that presented a challenge was the art analysis. The task of choosing the right image was, in essence, a task within a task. In fact, I actually switched the picture I initially chose due to a lack of available information on the initial picture I had chosen. The assignment’s complexity was mainly centered in the meticulous examination of differences within similarities. Despite the challenges, I found satisfaction in the experience, as it pushed me to open my mind, unveiling nuances that might have never been noticed. It most definitely expanded my perspective and I couldn’t be more appreciative.

Attending this class was always a joy for me, knowing that each session would bring a fun and engaging assignment centered around genuinely interesting topics. This has undoubtedly been the most enjoyable English class I’ve ever had!
