Meeting SD!

Q1: What is it like living inside your head?

Virtual Insanity by Jamiroquai

I imagine the inside my head to look like the ‘Virtual Insanity” music video. Everything in there is constantly moving, yet the space is very empty. The whole area would be very calming yet chaotic at the same time. But it works well. Everything flows naturally, which I would say is similar to my way of thinking/living. I don’t dwell on problems too often, esepcially the little things. What happens, happens. There’s no need to get upset over things you can’t control. It’s better to adapt to the things that are happening around you. Similar to the way Jay Kay dances in the video. It’s easy for me to go with the flow.

Q2: Introducing SD:

During our class on Wednesday, I was able to meet and speak with SD. The icebreakers we were asking didn’t really dive deep for us. We decided to go off script and freeball it. We asked basic questions to get a better idea of each other. From the questions I asked SD I was able to learn a lot about his personality and who he is as a person. SD is a family man. His family is his biggest motivator. He wants to do the most to support them and make them proud. Not only does he value his homelife, but he values the hobbies that he partakes in. SD played in his highschool football team, having several wins under his belt. I also learned that he once carried the dream of becoming an actor. But certain challenges arose that turned him away from the acting route. Meeting SD helped me realize how deep the layers of our personalities can go. We can always dig a little deeper into our lives. There’s always more to learn about ourselves.
