My 3 passions

To be passionate about something means you truly care for it, and that that thing is as important to you as, say, breathing. I’d be lying if I told you I have an interesting life, I don’t know what you would consider interesting, I guess that’s up to speculation. However, if there is one thing you should know about me, it is that im quite selective, and somewhat stubborn but that’s besides the point. Like everyone, I have thing’s I love to do, thing’s that take me away from reality if you will.

Although it has only been a year since I started, guitar playing, and music in general has become my second love. I remember the first song I ever played back in December of 2022 was Black parade by My chemical Romance. When I play guitar, hours feel like minutes, my mind goes to a different place. Currently, my favorite song to play is “The good life” by Three Days Grace. Recently, I’ve even started to make songs of my own, or I’m working on songs of my own I should say. They may be simple, I use at most 3-4 chords, but I’m proud of what I’ve managed to start. The hardest for a beginner I would say, is learning those damn bar chords, it’s very uncomfortable having to bar the entire fret with one finger and then make the rest of the chord, eventually you get the hang of it, but that’s truly the first real struggle in my journey. I know most people who read this paragraph don’t know what a chord or fret is, but I really don’t feel like explaining.

Every person has gone through a tough time, I myself have had my fair share of hardship. If there’s one place that heals anything, its the gym. The perfect day for me, involves at least one gym session, preferably with my friend’s. Right now, my dream physique, and I’m aware this is going to sound nerdy, but if you’ve watched the recent Spiderman across the spider-verse film, or if you know Marvel in general, than you know who Miguel O’Hara (Spiderman 2099) is. Ever since I watched the film back in June, I convinced myself that that was my dream physique. My proudest moment in the gym is when I hit my biggest personal record, 275 pound deadlift, the day after I could barely walk, but like they say, what doesn’t kill you make’s you stronger, or just critically injures you .

There are a few ways to get to know me, one of those ways is through film. I love talking about movies, or shows or anything of that sort. Some of my favorite moments in life have been with movies. When I was younger, my father used to take me to the theater whenever a new film we both liked would release, man of steel, the hobbit, Godzilla, pacific rim, Austin Powers, the majority of MCU film’s, movies truly were the way my father and I used to spend time together, and although we don’t do that anymore, it will forever . My favorite kinds of films are revenge stories, even better, those that show the true damage that can seeking revenge can have on someone. Perfect example of this is the Quentin Tarantino film, Kill Bill, one of my top 10 movies of all time. Long story short, this lady, Beatrix, she was a member of this group of assassins, the deadly viper assassination squad, she falls in love with they’re leader, she gets pregnant and decides to leave the group for the sake of her baby. The leader, Bill, learns that she’s getting married to another man, so out of jealously, he finds her at the wedding rehearsal and him and the other members of the group kill everyone there, including her baby. Both parts are about her one by one killing each member of the group, and inevitably, she ends killing bill, who was secretly raising her supposedly dead daughter for 5 years.
