My entire life I’ve loved gaming. From five years old I was already playing any and all Mario games I could get my hands on. From there I moved from playing on the tiny D.S to playing Minecraft on my mom’s laptop. From there I moved to the PlayStation where I spent countless hours playing story mode games and call of duty. While today I don’t have as much time to play video games as I would like, video games are a piece of me and have developed the way I enjoy content overall.
My second passion would be physical fitness. My entire life I struggled from anorexia. From a young age, I was put on medication and was forced to take supplements to guarantee a certain caloric intake as well specific vitamins I was lacking in. As I got older, I was able to eat enough to get off the medication, but never enough to be at a normal weight for my age. As far as senior year I was still severely underweight despite my attempts at gaining weight. That year I decided to take a bigger stance and joined the gym and created a diet plan in order to return to normal weight levels. Today over a year later I’m glad to say that I far surpassed my goal of a starting weight of 120 to now 155 pounds and counting. My goal for this year is to maintain go to 165 pounds and maintaining that body weight. The gym significantly changed my life for the better and it’s one of my proudest achievements.
My third and final passion is cooking. This is largely connected to my previous passion with fitness. In order to change my diet and eating habits I would have to cook up large highly calorie dense meals while also making sure the meals aren’t going to feel like torture. In doing so, I made myself not only enjoy the eating process of meals by the cooking part too. I found myself looking forward to not only working out, by cooking up the post-workout meal and sitting down to enjoy it.
I would definitely agree with you about playing video games especially when I was younger I also loved to play Minecraft, something about it made it so fun. I also found the fact that cooking is a passion of yours pretty interesting and I also want to learn to cook more things.
From a young age, i also struggle with something similar like that but it was asthma. I remember i had to daily use an inhaler.
