Three passions, so simple but complicated at the same time. The reason I say this is because passions are a big part of who you are. But, its so hard to find out what they are because its something you do naturally and you dont notice them until you really take the time to look for them and explore what your interest are. The ones I can think about are reaching goals, playing sports and going to the Dominican Republic.
Reaching goals is something essential to me because it’s how I keep track of myself on a day to day basis. It’s my passion because I see myself progress overtime and it assures me that im being someone productive. To reach your goals you have to wake up and go to bed with purpose and so to see growth makes you feel good because your taking steps to success.
Another passion is sports, it’s something that has been tied to me ever since I was a kid. The two primary sports I play is baseball and basketball. Those are two of the most heavily played sports in the Dominican Republic and so living there made me adapt to those extracurriculars. It’s a passion of mine because dealing with a lot of things in your day to day life gets you mentally exhausted. Engaging in sports really helps you recover mentally and makes you feel good in general so you can never go wrong with sports.
Finally, The Dominican Republic. I can never go wrong with going to my homeland it’s where I was born and it’s where all my roots are. Apart from knowing everyone and having a good time with family it’s the nature around the whole island that attracts me. I believe that if anyone goes it’s very hard for them to have a bad time. Everyone is friendly and you have a variety of things to do both in the city and in “el campo” which means the rural areas where most of the fun happens because people value their life and dont forget to enjoy their life. Its also rich in culture which is something I like and thats why is probably is my biggest passion.
