7 Day Log

Day 1: The first day I signed up for Wikipedia and started to look round and exploring the page more to understand it better. I found many cool features on Wikipedia that I could use in the future of this project.

Day 2: I completed the Wikipedia adventure game and learned how to use it and find my way around it. It was very helpful because I learned how to edit on Wikipedia which I never knew how to do fully.

Day 3: I tried the game again and then started to look around at different articles I saw on the page about some people that I know. I struggled to find someone I found interesting to write about.

Day 4: I edited an article to see if it actually worked and it did. It was someone that is not very famous do.

Day 5: I started looking at the red list to figure out who im going to research and write about. It took me a long time because I was looking around for someone I actually found interesting to write about.

Day 6: I chose Alison Rosen because she seems like she did a lot in her life and there are not a lot of articles or any information about her anywhere which I find very interesting. She does podcasts and is 48 years old and is currently married.

Day 7: I started researching and found sources and I started working on the annotated bibliography because I found most of the information that I would need for this essay and this women in red.

  1. It’s great to see your approach in exploring Wikipedia’s features and completing the adventure game to gain editing skills. when searching for an interesting topic to write about it’s important to find meaningful content. It’s intriguing how you’ve chosen Alison Rosen, recognizing the value of researching specific jobs such as podcasting (I googled her!). Your progress in researching and gathering sources is very structured and I think you have a very solid starting point for your future final paper.
