I learned how to generate different ideas and be creative. Professors taught us ways to think and push us to create more ideas. At the beginning, I was confused about what the professors expect from us. However, I notice that they are all for create more ideas and teach us how to be creative. It proves creative is something practicable and become one’s skill.  I really like the part where professor asked us to collect primary research and I made my first cup of coffee. If the professor did not ask us to do it I will never brew a cup of coffee myself. It is a very interesting experience. Also, the part where we acted like aliens and was examining the coffee related items. I would not think that by role playing I can get more ideas than before. I tried to be a newbie to the world and act like fool to see what I can come up with. I actually wrote a lot of strange things.
However, sometimes trying to come up ideas for our need can be difficult. We used similar techniques that we did in class to come up with different ideas, but it is still pretty difficult to do so. We tried to brainstorm Ideas like we did in class for the pencil. However, we did not fully understand the whole project at that time. After we talked to the professors we got a better knowledge of the project. We are glad that the professor wrote that we are getting close to it on our paper. The professors even chose the idea that they like from our assignment. We need to develop better ideas so we can produce a great product. There still a long way to go.
