I fine-tuned my data by placing in prompts and the responses I would say. I leveraged some of the prompts already in the JSON file regarding books or running a marathon but then entered in how I would answer the question or item. Also, I changed the tone to “genuine and light-hearted.” I immediately saw the difference in how the Chatbot responded. It was less robotic and had a sensitive/heart-warming tone to its responses. I also saw the enthusiasm it picked up from the new programming by the increase in exclamation points. The chatbot seemed more conversational, and it actually scared me a bit because it’s similar to my style of writing. I didn’t have to change the data or re-train the data because I think it already did a sufficient job of matching my tone and the types of responses I’d share for each question.
