Justin Brown (26) of Cheyenne, Wyoming started drawing when he was four years old, his favorite things to draw include Arthur (a famous cartoon character) and other cartoon characters. He is severely autistic and non-verbal. Brown also has an affinity for artistic drawings that astound the senses.

His mother said, Justin also animates characters on his laptop. Brown loves doing this as it is a huge part of his artistic passion.

Brown’s passion keeps him drawing every day from the time he wakes up, to the time he goes to sleep. It really speaks to what art means to him and how it inspires him, says his mother.

According to his mother, Justin is a fan of Pablo Picasso for Cubism and Dali for Surrealism, he is also an avid fan of the abstract art style. Both Picasso and Dali are amazing legends in art history and Brown’s love for them just shows how passionate he is about art as a whole.

Justin’s mother states, his tools of choice for his creation of art include: electric pencils, charcoal, and colored pencils. He loves to duplicate from his favorite artists.

Justin’s art teachers have encouraged him to pursue his passion in creating art to draw and show his creativity. One of his reasons for drawing is it keeps him calm and gives him focus, according to his mother.

According to his mother, Justin’s art is a way of showing his emotional side and his passions. It allows him to express what he cannot verbally.
