The gentleman in the beginning of this video mentioned the term “funny” four times. This hints that it was so funny that it struck the audience. Moreover, he singles out the end of work, which he refers to as creepy. Again, King Lear makes a distinctive mark in his great work. Obviously, the emotions that were evoked from King Lear were remarkable and long lasting. I think that it is essential for a great piece of work to evoke some sense of emotion, whether it may be positive or negative. Being that King Lear evoked both funny, positive emotions and creepy, negative emotions, the audience was intrigued. For these reason, everyone in this video was impressed and moved by this great work.
