Why Management?

At the beginning of college, the course of Business Administration was totally unfamiliar. As we all know,  management belongs to business, and most graduates of this major will embark on the road of business management after graduation, and the MBA Diploma in business management is also a necessary entry condition for the top managers of enterprises.

And “what is business management? This is a big problem for me for a period of time, I believe that for most people this is a difficult problem. After a long search, in my opinion,, enterprise management should learn to be a person, learning innovation, entrepreneurial spirit and the second is the industrial and commercial management of the professional knowledge and skills.

For instance, my dad is a very successful businessman right now, but once upon a time his company was almost bankrupt due to improper management of human resources. My father always felt that the workers were not working hard enough. The company still had a factory at that time. Because the factory was movement whole day, there must be a management person on duty at night until 8 am next morning. Because the management has a relatively high salary, there is no subsidy for them to do the duty at night. Because of this, it is always difficult to get people go to work every night. It causes employees in bad moods when they went to work on Saturday and Mondays. Especially on Sundays, when the factory needs people to work overtime, no one is willing to do so. Dozens of machines can’t work as usual at that time. When workers need to work overtime, they complain a lot. The result of my father’s half-year earnings was very poor. My father felt that this was not a good situation for him to manage his company. Later, he found a human resources management expert. The human resource management expert’s method is that there is extra salary when workers go to do extra work, and workers receive no salary when workers doesn’t go to do extra work. For example, on Sundays, which day workers are supposed to relax at home during the night time, there is extra salary for workers who choose to work overtime at night. In order to earn more money every month, many workers will ask my dad if there are any night shifts still be needed. Gradually, my dad’s company’s income that is getting better. And my father got the lessons that are company survive and thrive well can not without the human resource management and the organization should have the human resource management.After all I saw father’s company, I think human resource management is a very great work, and it can save a lot of companies.

Newton said, “If I have seen further, it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.” I think, as a student of business management, we must have both the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship, and learn the art of being a person, but also have a solid professional foundation, in order to get a place in the fierce social competition.
