You have three 15 second rounds for a total of 45 seconds to stop the Spotted Lanternflies from taking over.

As each round progresses the game gets harder. To make it to round 2 you have to have killed 15 or more spotted lanternflies in 15 seconds. Next to make it to the final round you have to have killed at least 15 more spotted lanternflies in the additional 15 seconds. Thus 30 or more spotted lanternflies in the total 30 seconds. Finally to win you have to have killed more than 45 lanternflies in the total 45 seconds; proving that you are keeping their growth under control.

Scroll your mouse over the spotted lanternflies to kill them. This laser only kills the spotted lanternflies but you’ll lose points if…

• You let the spotted lanternfly make it to the bottom of your screen. Lose 2 points
• Hit the butterflies. Lose 1 point
• Hit the owl. Timer increases by 1 second (meaning it is taking you longer to kill the flies.)
  Hence you lose when it’s taking too long to kill the spotted lanternflies efficiently or when timer exceeds the score.
