If you’re ever looking for me, search the corners or under the blankets. There’s so much comfort in the corner. No noise, no interaction, no one just you and it seems as though everything is clear, you mind is straight, your memory is back.. I hide in my c tiny closet, my door entrance, my mom’s closet when I want to be with Hod. It it brings me so much comfort being in those places. In broad daylight those places I won’t be but at night no matter how comfortable my bed is, I run to the closet or dooor and cover my head with my blanket. It feels like my space w for just me and God and I can talk to him a sometimes even if when I’m mad I will go in my closet because to me God is there. And he his. My closet is really small and I squeeze myself. I love it I squeeze a lot as though I’m still in my mother’s womb. So the closet is no problem for me. My mom’s closet also when she’s not home, is also my hiding place.

When it comes to worship songs, you want songs that praise God, speak of who he is, and connect you and him, worship creates a heart-to-heart fellowship. In true worship, you’d be in awe of God. worship is not asking him for anything but showing gratitude with your hearts towards him at his feet. Letting him know who he is to you. In the presence of worshipping God, you will end up carrying an atmosphere and belief of who God is. With a strong conviction, your heart leaps with joy and love for God. Getting so deep into worship that your mouth utters words such as ” I don’t want nothing lord, I want you”, I’m In your presence to worship you. Sometimes you might even get short of words because you cannot find words to describe how you feel about him or worship who he is, then tears begin to flow, or your Groningen, or simply silence. It’s beautiful ❤️
I remember when I dedicated myself to worshiping God through songs t a season of my life. It’s still my most precious moment. Without fail then, I would spend an hour worshipping, it never felt like work or a task, I craved the presence and the feeling. I have come to realize that not every gospel song worships God. Not that they are not worthy of listening to but true worship and talking to the heart of God and he does the same. From personal experience, listening to songs that worship him, not asking for anything, all comes to you. Have not just your eyes but your heart fixated on him and it will be the best decision of you life.
My Wellbeing
There’s the upmost comfort you can only ever get by being in the presence of God. In those moments you’re frustrated, and lost, go sit in a corner, you can play worship, worship instrumentals and just dwell🥺. Sometimes there’s no strength to sing along but in the atmosphere of dwelling in his presence , his peace comes over me and the burden truly comes off . Most times its being in silence. Its laying and focusing on him. Letting go of every sense of urgency as it happens. When I’m unable to speak, I lay down and speak in my heart, knowing he’s hearing me.

Childhood Toy Drawing
I didn’t grow up with toys because my mom hates a clustered home. Here’s a story of how I got this toy house – My mom and I visited her older friend’s (she refers to her as aunty because of the age gap) Store. This lady sells all kinds of toys. While leaving, I asked the lady, if I could pick a toy as we were walking to the second floor….. I know. The AUDACITY! poor lady, had no other choice than to say yes. I scanned round her shop and was thinking between a seesaw pony and this tent. I ended up choosing the tent. Believe it, they were all waiting on me and I took my time! My mom was honestly in disbelief. She looked at me like I was crazy. The sales lady carried the huge box to out car.
The toy ended up becoming a tourist attraction for kids in my neighborhood. They would often come to visit to play. I wonder how little I was seeing how small the tent is. I still fondly remember the smell of the balls and the experience I had playing by myself or with friends.
To this day my little brother, doesn’t have toys as well. I hate seeing toys littered around because I’m so use to seeing my home clean. We both turned out fine without toys.
Moral of the story, ask and you shall receive… what’s the worse that can happen? Nothing:)
