Baruch College & COVID-19: Contribute Your Story to the Archives

The Baruch College Archives and Special Collections is collecting materials which document the response of our community to the coronavirus (COVID-19).

This pandemic is affecting the lives of people all over the world and is having a profound impact on New Yorkers and the Baruch College Community. We are seeking your accounts of life under quarantine during this historic crisis. Historians in the future will want to know how we responded to the pandemic. Tell us about how your life has changed, how you’re coping with the crisis, what precautions you are taking if any. The stories and materials you contribute will allow us to preserve and study these experiences for the future.

Some questions to help you reflect and document your experience
What has been your experience transitioning to online learning?

How are you and your family members spending your time? Are you participating in online social gatherings?

If employed are you working from home or are you an essential worker? Are you giving back or showing support (PPE donations, volunteering, cheering/creating signs)?

How has your neighborhood changed? Have many businesses near you closed? Describe or document the sights and sounds in your area. What has your shopping experiences been?

What are your biggest challenges during this time? Have you experienced illness or loss?
