Interested in Abnormal Psych?

Hi everyone,

Since it seems like several people in our class are interested in clinical psychology, I’ve shared some of my findings in this post related to clinical psych labs in the New York City area. Specifically, I posted a link below to Hunter College’s (CUNY) Psychology Labs, if anyone is interested in gaining further research experience directly related to topics such as autism, depression, and psychopathology. The page also lists labs focusing on developmental, social, and bio-psychological research, as well.

Here is the link: http://www.hunter.cuny.edu/scimon/research/facultylabs/psychology-lab-opportunities

For clinical psychology, I’d suggest looking into Dr. Miranda, Dr. Dennis, and Dr. Mennin’s labs!

Best of luck!

  1. Hi Daphne,

I know that you posted this a while ago, but I was just scrolling through the posts and found this to be quite useful and interesting. It is always helpful and probably recommended to check out a variety of labs to develop your range as a researcher and maybe even find your niche! Thank you for the relevant and detailed post!
