Sherwin Fink retired from his store, Gatsbys, in Great Barrington, Mass., in 2009. He remembers with fondness his years at the College, especially the Senior Dinner and the Senior Prom at the Essex House, where he performed the role of master of ceremonies. Fink was voted class Char-Actor.

In October I. William (Bill) Stone was given the Volunteer of the Year Award by NYSARC, Inc., for his outstanding contributions to the lives of people with mental retardation and developmental disabilities. He served as officer of various committees of the New York City chapter and as treasurer of the state organization in addition to chairman of his Bronx community board. His life work in the field of developmental disabilities and the community was shared by his wife, Dorothy Lowenthal Stone (’52).
