Rear Admiral Andrew A. Giordano recently received the U.S. Navy Supply Corps Lifetime Achievement Award. He retired in 1984, having served in various capacities for 31 years, and continues to be an active member of the Supply Corps community. He received the Navy Public Service Award for helping establish the Navy’s e-commerce office and has served as treasurer and trustee of the Navy, Marine, Coast Guard Residence Foundation and as a member of the board of governors of the Navy Memorial Foundation. His positions in the corporate sector include chairman emeritus and lead independent director of the board, Joseph A. Bank Clothiers, Inc. In 2009 Leon Hellman presided over the 150th anniversary of the B’nai B’rith International Sam Schloss Lodge in Memphis, Tenn.
