Sometimes even the most hardworking student just has to leave the responsibilities of classes, jobs, and family behind for a time and let loose. That’s what annual Spring Fling is all about—that and celebrating a year full of extracurricular events and organizations.
At noon on May 5, hundreds of students poured out of the Information and Technology Building and the Newman Vertical Campus to pack Bernard Baruch Way (25th Street between Lexington and Third Avenues) for Baruch’s annual street fair.
Highlights of the celebration included live music, dance demonstrations, an “inflatable” bull ride, and prize-offering, test-your-skill arcade games. In addition to fun, students filled up on hot dogs, hamburgers, popcorn, cotton candy, and other carnival food, all free of charge courtesy of the College’s Office of Student Life.
