Eileen Cohen (MBA) is a National Grid Foundation board member. She was on hand May 2011 for a College celebration of math skills, during which the foundation was thanked for its support of Baruch’s Math Skills Enhancement Program. Aseem Khera has been named CEO of Anpesil, LLC, distributor of confectionary products and grocery items. He was previously chief administrative officer of Frankford Candy and Chocolate Company.

Friedman has joined Rosen Seymour Shapss Martin & Company LLP, Certified Public Accountants and Profitability Consultants, as the principal of fiduciary services. Previously, Friedman was a director for taxation in the real estate division of FTI Corp.

Kerry R. Benson

In August Kerry R. Benson was honored as a recipient of a 2011 Minority Business Leader Award, at a ceremony in Philadelphia. Benson, who lives in New Jersey with his family, is managing director and CIO of the PFM Group, a provider of financial and investment advisory services, a position he has held since 2007. Randy Harmatz (MBA) has been named the chief quality officer for UF&Shands, the University of Florida Academic Health Center. She was formerly the VP of the quality program at University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland.

Jonathan Berman has joined Ariel Properties Advisors as a VP for investment sales, responsible for multifamily and development properties in Brooklyn. He was previously with Massey Knakal Realty Services. Daniel Goldhagen (MBA) is director at TD Securities (USA), LLC, the investment banking and asset management firm. Michael Reinhardt (MBA) has joined Kips Bay Medical Inc., in Minneapolis; he previously served as VP of global marketing at ATS Medical, Inc.

Sungsoo Kim, a professor of accounting at the Rutgers School of Business–Camden, has been named a winner in the 2010–11 Fulbright Distinguished Chairs Program to Yonsei University in Korea.

Charles Alaimo (MS ’05) has joined Aceto Corp., a Lake Success, N.Y.–based pharmaceutical company, as VP of human resources. Most recently he was director of global human resources for Coby Electronics Corp. David Edelstein (MBA) is VP of supply chain management project management at Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics.  He was recently elected to Syracuse University’s board of trustees.
