In his 15 years as a metal-detecting hobbyist, Paul Raymond has found many treasures in addition to Thomas Bolger’s Baruch class ring (see photos below; collection photo shows all the rings Raymond found the week he found the Baruch ring).

Among his two greatest finds, Raymond cites a ring he found in Guadeloupe fours years ago with Hebrew writing on the inside dated from the time of Jesus Christ.
“I have had all kinds of insane offers for it. But that’s one I’m not ready to let go,” he says.

His second-best find? It’s not shown here but is a silver spoon inscribed with “Boston Mass” and the initials “PR” for Paul Revere. Yes, that’s the famous “the British are coming, the British are coming” silversmith from early U.S. history.
