[dropcap sid=”dropcap-1432657570″]T[/dropcap]he Spring 2015 semester represents a great push for seniors working toward graduation, but it is also a time for much-deserved breaks in classes and busy student lives.
So 14-degree temperatures couldn’t deter Baruchians from experiencing Winter Carnival 2015, slated to be held on the 25th Street Plaza and instead moved indoors to the Newman Vertical Campus gymnasium. The Feb. 5 event was hosted by the Office of Student Life and featured games, food, prizes, and music.
Wrote student Sivanna Shusterman (’19) for The Ticker, “The event was a widespread success where many students were able to come together to have fun and get to know each other even more.” The carnival preceded the Battle of Lexington basketball tournament on Feb. 9.
No longer an ice rink, the plaza hosted the Spring Fling Street Fair on May 7.
