Anxiety refers to feelings of nervousness, fear, or worry. Most people will feel anxious before a job interview, when taking a test, or on their first day at a new job or school.
At college, anxiety is fairly prevalent. In the past year, 63% of college students in the US reported experiencing overwhelming anxiety, according to the National Comorbidity Survey Replications.
