Position Overview
This part-time Physical Therapy Aide position is an excellent opportunity for students or recent college graduates looking to expand their knowledge of the physical therapy and healthcare field.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients upon arrival at the facility.
- Assist therapists in administering exercise programs as needed.
- Interact with patients to promote a friendly and positive atmosphere.
- Maintain the general organization and cleanliness of the clinic.
- Prepare hot and cold packs.
- Clean and maintain treating tables.
- Assist with patient flow within the facility as directed by the Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Perform other duties as assigned.Â
Qualifications
- Strong interest in the physical therapy or medical field.
- Patient-first mentality.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to spend long periods stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
