Dear hiring manager
I’m interested in applying for the part-time Physical Therapy Aide position with Reddy Care Physical Therapy located in Queens, NY. As a current college student enrolled at Baruch College, I have a great interest in physical therapy.
I don’t have clinical physical therapy experience yet, but I do have some volunteering and professional work in hectic environments that have taught me organization, the ability to take direction, and work with colleagues successfully. For instance, I volunteered with a college group with Soundview Park. We engaged in a cleanup of the park and planted trees, etc.—although our efforts consisted of individual activities, we had to be a cohesive unit to stay on task for successful job completion with a substantial positive outcome for the community.
I can learn quickly; I am an honest and loyal worker, and I love helping others. I can keep things tidy. I can provide a warm, welcoming smile at the front desk. I can render massage therapists assistance in their daily routines, whether that means preparing a hot/cold pack or organizing supplies and equipment. I am also fluent in English and Spanish, allowing me to communicate with a larger population of patients.
What intrigues me the most about Reddy Care is the fact that you hire students and those entering the field. You are a well-established and well-known company in the industry, and to have your own customized onboarding process means that education and managerial support is integral to your approach. I’m eager to work for a clinic that has respect for its patients and employees.
I know I can bring a positive attitude and strong work ethic to your office. I will be on time, respectful of patients and other team members, and give 100%. This opportunity would be invaluable to me, as it would take me closer to my career goals and it would be a privilege to start that journey with Reddy Care.
