Cardi B joined with singers Rita Ora, Bebe Rexha and Charli XCX created the song “Girls” with the intention of it being a power anthem for women. The song was quickly met with criticism as many fans claimed it did more harm than good for the LGBTQ community. Cardi went on her Twitter to clear up the air.

Legendary rapper Slick Rick has been extended the highest degree of honor that the Bronx gives, being added to the Bronx Walk of Fame. Slick Rick will be joining names such as Colin Powell, Fat Joe, Neil deGrasse Tyson and others. This honor also comes short of the 30th anniversary of his iconic, “The Great Adventures of Slick Rick.”
