HTML seemed very simple to me in the first few exercises. It was short, simple and effective. I had a bit of prior experience using HTML back when I used to be an avid forum user. Then, it was a matter of pride knowing how to change colors and make your posts flashy for all to see.

As such I breezed through Unit 1 and some of Unit 2. However, as is the case with any coding language, it started to get complicated once the code got more and more expansive. Yet I held my ground fairly well.

Going on to Unit 4 and CSS, I was caught off guard because this was completely new to me. I enjoyed learning how to use it but I still think the formatting of the CSS code could be simpler and easier to use. I look forward to applying my new-found knowledge to the development of my blog.
