Mishkin Gallery Reflection

Upon arrival of the Mishkin Art Gallery, I was filled with excitement, anxious to see different art. However the lady tour guide was very boring and dulled my experience. Instead of listening to the tour I was more curious to look at the different paintings and pictures by myself. The part that struck me the most entertaining was the photography section. I am interested in street photography, and thought that the photo of the naked women’s butts depicted in a wave shape was fascinating. The thought of walking through the city and capturing different moments of the big apple’s movements and actions, captivates me. I am inspired to go and buy a 35mm fixed lens to help with my advancing passion for street photography. I was also filled with the thought of how art can capture so many thoughts and passions within a small box or rectangle. Pictures aren’t worth a thousand words, they’re worth millions. It was crazy to see how different time periods can be described in just a few pictures. The mannerisms, the way people dress, the things people do is very intriguing.
