Recently, I attended a Baruch Swim meet on November 13th. Baruch was pitted up against York College. I attended because of a need to complete this post, but also because I always enjoyed aquatics and watching them on TV. I never experienced it in person though, and a close friend that knows someone on the team invited me to the event. The atmosphere was electric, with fans cheering as the swimmers entered the room. “To your marks” then the starting gun went off and the crowd roared. The impressive speed of the races kept the event dynamic and compelling. I enjoyed this experience and I believe that watching Baruch sporting events are a great way to become involved in the school and cheer on fellow students. The quality of athletes here is very high and the sports are a great source of entertainment. The meet resulted in Two first places and a second place. I am looking forward to attending more of these events. -Carson Vulpis
