| Content | As shown by the picture it is almost obvious that I live by the ocean. Which explains why some of the streets are named after oceanic features like salt, surfing, and seagrass. Even a shelter has the theme of the beach within its name. In addition, many of the streets are named “Beach # St” this goes from the number 2 all the way until the number 227. There are also a couple of stores related to surfing or beach equipment since at times equipment can break at a moment's notice or be forgotten. Just by looking at google maps and analyzing the name of the streets shown, one can tell that this is an area that attempts to use its location near a beach to attract popularity. It makes sense that whoever named the streets attempted to do such a thing because this location is basically a peninsula, just surrounded by the ocean. |
